Welcome to our new blog on the web. I know, many of you are saying to yourselves, "It's about time! I figured Kraft would be one of the first to get a blog!" So, finally, here I am. Or rather, here WE are--this is going to be the central place for communicating about our upcoming wedding!
As of today, we're thinking the date for the wedding is either the last weekend of May or first weekend of June, 2008, in Slovakia. Probably Bratislava, but it may be in an outlying town somewhere close by.
This place will be for everyone who's invited to discuss logistics, talk about things to do, meet each other, make some plans, exchange email addresses, and generally plan for what will (hopefully) turn out to be one of the best vacations everyone has ever had.
In that spirit, welcome! We'll have lots more information for you in the upcoming months. PLEASE POST RESPONSES so we can start to get a feel for how many are coming, whose plans we've totally ruined, etc. :)

alllrighty then, you prolly already know that the two blondes and i will be making the trek to eastern europe.
you know i wonder if they give group discounts for airfare! *grins* from out here its 1200 - 1600 per person for coach.
what we're thinking right now, and of course plans subject to change without notice, is that we'll take three weeks to come over. a week for the wedding and two to 'explore'. thinking of flying into Athens so that we can just fly oiut of there when we're done (thats one of the must see places while we're across the pond). But that gives the problem of how to get from athens to bratislava. i started looking at eurorail tix. not sure where you said it was gunna be cheap putz, cus to me it looked like $600 for a 15-ride-in-a-month pass (for one). that and i couldnt figure out how to get the trip to get me from athens to bratislava...
maybe you could check this out for me and see if i'm just in the wrong place?
anywho, off to find a new name in gmail seeing as weathertop has been taken (as are most of the neat and easy and not so common places in tolkien are taken already)...
